Hand to Face Gestures: The Eye Rub Gesture

There are many gestures made by hand and face. These gestures express the inner mental state of us.

It is done by vigorous rub of eye. A right handed man will do this on his right eye and left handed will do this on left eye. Men do this gesture by vigorous rubbing and tend to look away or to the floor. Women do this by small and gentle rubbing just below their eye and tend to look upward to the ceiling.

This gesture has a universal meaning. If the listener is doing this gesture then id depicts that he doubts the statement to be a lie. If the speaker does this gesture, that depicts a false statement and telling lie.

Gestures are very interesting thing to study. They transmit nonverbal signals and reveal the inner truth of a person.
