How Did Bikers Get a Bad Rap?
I’m just a bike lover not a hard core biker. I think the problem with bikers getting a bad rap was the Hells Angels movement.
The club started off innocently when some army fly boys came home and started the bike club. Like you said they partied and party hard and stood up for what they believed in but somewhere along the line in time the code changed and so did most bikers with it.
I understand not all bikers are flesh peddling, crack dealing scum but it was those one’s that do that kind of thing that brought a bad name on for all bikers. I have no problem with bikers but really the only one’s I have ever known where in the “CLUB” and these guys where not decent respectable people so I can understand where the average person would get confused and think all bikers are bad.
The truth of the matter is NOT all bikers are bad and live buy some junkie code; there are ones who still believe in the original code of “BORN TO RIDE, RIDE TO LIVE”.

Society always thinks the worse of any group. If one biker group is bad and 100 are good, all 1001 will be viewed as bad. That is the way our crazy biased society seems to think. All Hippies were pot heads, All welfare people are lazy, All ex-cons are dangerous. All homeless people don’t want to work, and on and on. Foolishness!
