Immigration! Immigration! Immigration!

The United !tates is one of the most beautiful countries on earth. The landscape varies from endless mountain ranges, to rolling hills, deep valleys, fast paced cities, and lively coastal cities and beaches. I have strong love for this country. What I hate seeing, is a place so beautiful as America falling apart at the seems. Today 7/12/09 I declare that the United States is under attack. Under attack by people who don’t care or give a damn about this country. I am talking about illegal immigrants.

I feel our nation is under attack by people with no disregard to our laws. I feel that action should be taken at our border with Mexico. The four fathers of this nation applauded the migration to America by foreigners. Ben Franklin saw it  great that people brought culture to this nation. He loved that many different languages were also spoken. However, one thing Ben Franklin made clear was that, no matter how many languages were spoken, the national language of the United States is English.

I feel it is a disgrace to  our four fathers if we start printing materials in Spanish. Someone tell me why we are trying to accommodate people in our own country. Why are we changing things in our country to please disrespectful foreigners? Why do we waste our time doing so, when all it does is give them permission to disrespect our culture. Illegal immigrants show the utmost disrespect while they live here in the United States, for decades, and twenty years later still can’t speak English. Why have we tried so hard to accommodate people who continue to disrespect us. In Mexico they don’t really try making signs in English as we’ve done for them in Spanish. How do we move forward when our partner stands still?

The people of America are in need of jobs, yet they are being stolen by illegal immigrants. Then on top of that the money made is sent to another country to family members. When will this end? Obama is one of our most promising presidents, and I hope he fixes this problem. Don’t get me wrong America, I love every race of people, but I do not like illegal immigrants. My family came here as immigrants. I am a Creole kid. I am mixed with French, Italian, Native American, and black. I hate the idea that an honest immigrant who followed the rules, is denied happiness because of an idiot, who broke rules to enter the U.S.

I’m a 17 year old who wants to get into politics, and I can’t wait to get into the White House. I will be able to get this problem fixed if my idol Barack Obama doesn’t. So if you feel the same way on this topic please leave a command, and vote how you liked my article. I would appreciate it.
