Importance of Dresses

Dress is the reflection of the cultural improvement of the human society. It establishes one’s position in society and expresses a person’s identity.

Dress is very important in this modern world to live with honor and dignity. A person with dirty dress is neglected in our fashionable society, however big and rich he is! It is better to follow the following ethics of dresses:

1.     Always use a clean dress:

It wills expos the sense of self and silently it will acquire the person’s rightful place in the society. On the hand he or she will be neglected here and there and everywhere.

2.     Use a dress of convenience of daily activity:

The charm of the life lies in the daily activity of the individual’s concerned. Apart from beauty, fashion or glamour, one has to be dedicated to his daily activity, the activity which is not only giving him the daily bred and butter but above all the pleasure of work. The dress which is convenient for work is indispensable at any other cost.

3.     It is better to use the dress of the place of work instead of the dress of one’s dress of collective identity or ethnic identity.

Every country, every society has developed a dress of its own in the period of the course of change of society with the change of time.  To avoid criticism in the place of work, it is better to take up the dresses of the majority.

4.     No one should sacrifice his or her traditional dress in a show fashion of beauty or in any social function.

An ethnic dress is the identity of a person. No one is entitled to down grade the traditional dress of any community or any country. A country is known by the nature of the people of the country and also by its traditional dress as well.

5.     It is better to taste the different dress of different community of different country.

Today the internet has given the opportunity to see the people of different country with different dresses. It has made linkages with other disciplines to find common ground upon which every one can explore new dresses with new ideas. The new ideas will think, what to wear, when to wear, what others are wearing. Once the Americans used to wear Baggy –pants and shirts with labels and bright colors, but now it becomes the fashionable new dress to whites. There is difference in Men and women of the cloth; there is difference in European woman’s fashion, Asian identities in clothing. The social psychology of clothing behavior is changing with time to accommodate the status and universal beauty. It is not a bad idea to get dresses at different taste.

I am in complete agreement with you Hari. Comfort and not fashion should determine what we wear. Also we should be experimental but at the same time see to it that we compliment what we wear!

Interesting article! I hardly ever wear dresses, but that’s just because I’m American and a student. At least I’m clean, though: Sometimes college kids over here use their status to dress sloppily.

A very enjoyable and informative article.
Wearing clean clothes is one of the first things that are noticed by others…and helps to form a favorable “first impression”.
Wearing the proper clothing at work is important if one is to be taken seriously by that company as a person who not only wants to succeed but also wants the company to succeed. Adhering to the company’s dress code is a sign of respect.
Wearing your ethnic clothing instead of clothing made for fashion and ego is a sign that you have respect for your heritage and the values taught you by your family and other loved ones.
Interesting thoughts to ponder…no matter what country a person lives in!
