You seem to be referring to pop culture as if it were one thing though. The pop stands for popular… So it’s by name the things that are popular in a culture at the present date. You can’t accurately judge that the media makes it attractive or all pop culture is advertised through magazines. Some might be, most probably is, but there is a good bit that definitely isn’t.
