Invasion of The Americas…(this is #1 of an 18 Part Article Series)
From Independent Research Based On Scholarly, Geographic, Ancient Cultures, World History and Scientific Events…I Present an Authentic Guideline to Evolution, Knowledge and Development of the Great Land Mass Which Transformed into seven Continents…
Oh my goodness! This topic took some dedicated research methods. I thought, “Which resources should I use to authenticate this article series”? Seeking to be creative, as well as offering an information trail for the readers, I decided to utilize my son’s Social Studies Textbook, he is an 8th grader. I found this to be the most intriguing to use, due to the fact, this is the agreed upon historyapproved by state regulations. A county’s school board per state is authority of the materials being taught to our children. Remember this is the knowledge our children are tested on by state (yearly), in order for them to one day graduate with a diploma. Can never forget Al Gore’s contribution to information, the Internet is always a great tool! The addition of document references through the United States Library of Congress also proved to be an abundant asset. Lastly, I applied data found through independent reading, which covers books written by scholars in different areas of science and social studies of various cultures. The journey is one we will enjoy together. Sources are offered at the end of each article for easy examination.
*Religious dogmas will not be implemented within this series…the reason why is simple. Religion-(a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects) is based on faith, group thinking and accounts from ghosts (characters who are deceased). This overview will be based on facts and no forms of opinions, beliefs or speculations.*
This is interesting…now picture a map, visualize you residing in Brittan (a European country) you are at a sea port there, looking towards the Americas. Which direction would you look or sail to reach the Americas? The answer according to geographic study states: North. However, if you reside in Africa, which direction would you travel to reach the Americas? The answer is west! The continents of the world are Africa, the Americas, Antarctica, Asia, Australia w/Oceania and Europe. Remember the land was once a great mass at one point and Africa is recorded in history as the center land mass, during which the evolution of fish and invertebrate groups (Paleozoic Era approximately 542 to 251 million years ago) and asteroids/comets/meteors (Mesozoic Era approximately 245 to 65.5 million years ago) evolved. According to “The Origin of Continents and Oceans”by Alfred Wegener published in 1915, the continents began shifting 200 million years ago (Mesozoic Era). Towards the end of the Mesozoic Era (approximately 67 million years ago) a cosmic bomb devastated this planet’s surface, the climate drastically changed…the effect: earth’s atmosphere no longer supported or created the elements needed to sustain the life of dinosaurs. Around 35 million years ago Antarctica, Asia and Europe’s continental positions changed. These continents shifted, losing its physical connections to Africa, the Americas and Australia w/Oceania. Non evolved Homo Erectus separated themselves from other forms of Homo Sapiens nearly 25 million years ago, in accordance to “Snowball Earth”, a written article by Hoffman and Schrag in Scientific American January 2000.
