Make a Difference and Change How The World Appears

Petition for change of access to 1926 census Ireland to get beyond and arrive before the 100 year rule.

We the undersigned petition the prime minister of Ireland to use his powers of office under section 33(3) of the Statistics act 1993 to release the complete returns for the 1926 census .  It appears that our access to our ancestors lives or should I say our histories , is being prevented by some 100 hundred year rule in Ireland awaiting your signature for some reality to shine from the amazing facts buried beneath our inactivated taoiseach’s behindedness , wiped by this this not very commonly sensible outdated English illbegotten rule .

In the US census returns are released 71 years after their compilation .Currently all surviving US census up to and including that for 1930 can be seen on the Internet .

Spread the good news and make it even better by putting your name down in history as one who made it happen.

I wonder why public records would be kept sealed that long. Even the U.S. 71 years sound a bit long.
