If there were as many commercials showing blacks or hispanics as the only ones doing the cleaning in commercial…there would be a national outcry and discrimination lawsuits out the wah-zoo! So how do these cleaning companies get by with showing “only women” in those roles. Cleaning a toilet seems like a more “manly” kind of job anyway!

Amen! I still have yet to see a male cleaning in a cleaning product commercial! It’s the twenty-first century and commercials like these are offensive! Advertisers, are you listening??

did u ever get a response to this? unfortunately, your letter had very little affect on the cleaning industry’s advertisements, as they are showing women cleaning now more than ever!
