You write about your first son going to his father's every other weekend as if it is a relief for both you and your current partner, as if yoru other son cramps your style. You are lesser of a mum to your children. You failed to provide a stable home to your first son by going off and dating, finding someone new and moving that person into your son's home. You've been a bad example to your son. Your partner may not judge you for your past, but your children will, and THAT is what you really should be worried about.

Also, just because your son has more presents than he knows what to do with does not mean you are a good mum. That's just your way of compensating for what you are truly lacking as a mother.
