My $0.25 Black Shirt
by Everyone is waiting for a big sale at Shopping Malls and their monthly salary so to speak. When there’s promo/sale or even a big discount using their credit cards with zero interest, they might also think of renting their neighbors van.

I love sale; in fact, I’m one of the thousand people waiting for it. You might even see me at the Shopping Mall with the crowd looking for a good buy and it makes me proud whenever I purchase discounted items. It makes me crazy when there’s a sale and I can’t be there, I even borrow my mom’s credit card to attend the sale. It’s funny that it sounds too important for me, thinking it was just a monthly sale.
One time, at the Shopping Mall, there was a store on sale. Their theme was “Php12 only” ($0.25), to be specific it was Lee Jeans. My husband, our 2 year-old son and I we’re outside of that store and I thought it was a good discount. We’re very curious about their theme, so we decided to go inside and have a look. A young lady greeted us as we enter the store. “How can we avail the discount?” my husband asked. The young lady answered “Sir, you have to purchase at least Php799 on our products to be able to avail it.” A good deal my husband thought.
It took us a while on choosing garments and we we’re able to attain the price of 1k+ we almost doubled the price of Php799. So, we paid for it and took our chance for the discounted t-shirts. It was a lot of shirts, I don’t even know what to get. While I was choosing for a shirt, I asked the lady. “How many shirts can I buy for only Php12?” In my disappointment, I could only get one t-shirt per transaction of Php799. That was part of their promo. Well, what can I say? I grabbed a black shirt and paid for it.
Asking about promos and their mechanics are very important, you have to know everything before buying anything. It was a bit sad, but of course I experienced purchasing a shirt for only Php12.
