Conclusion
Ngong Ping 360 is conformed the aspects of the sustainable development.
Firstly, in the area of environment, government uses the most recycle way to transport the materials. Second, in the aspect economy, Ngong Ping 360 brings a lot of finical advantages, for example, the rent, tourism and so on.Last but not least, in the area of society, Ngong Ping 360 can brings the job opportunities to the local people.
On the other hand, we did a survey to collect their opinion from the Hong Kong people. Lastly, the survey told us that most of the people agree that Ngong Ping 360 is benefit to Hong Kong and they also agree Ngong Ping 360 is confirmed to the aspects of the sustainable development.
To conclude, I totally agree Ngong Ping 360 is benefit to Hong Kong.
Suggestions for improvement
First of all, the ticket price is too high which doesn’t please people who are not wealthy, so they should lower the ticket price in order to gain more support from people.
Furthermore, the safety of Ngong Ping 360 hang back people from use it. I think the government should hire the professionals for regular inspections.
Moreover, the Ngong Ping 360 is not diverse enough to attract as it include only the Buddha the Ngong Ping Village. Buddha only attracts people who are a Buddhist. However, there’s lack of Buddhist in Hong Kong, maybe the elderly.
Also, the waiting time is too long as too much people are squeezed into Ngong Ping 360, to solve this problem, the government should carry out public restraint, I think this can reduce the waiting time of Ngong Ping 360.
Reflection
It is said that sustainable development was an impossible dream. But I do not think so. Let Ngong Ping 360 be an example, it is a good transport to transport tones of goods and convince the residents in that area. Secondly, it is a good scenery to attract so many local as well as the foreign tourists. Also, many people will have their own job (not just the workers, but also the sales in the Ngong Ping Village).
Basically, I started to do 2 weeks before the deadline, thus I have no time to collect many data. Nonetheless, I enjoy doing this project very much. I understand more about Ngong Ping 360 and sustainable development, since I knew nothing before doing this project. Notwithstanding was it difficult to finish by myself, I really want to explore more about sustainable development in Hong Kong in other aspects.
