Not Your Grandfather’s America

As a young man, I thought grandpa’s confusion was just old age, but I’m starting to understand it was more than that.

I also hope for a change. One that may never come. An America that believes in itself once again. One that my grandfather would have recognised. A country by the people for the people. Stronger than it’s own goverment, who seems to have lost confidence in the peoples ability to make choices for itself. A society strong enough to come together when it’s attacked, and not blame itself for the murderess actions of others in the world, who use religion and your own freedoms as excuses to kill you. People of America, I ask you not to lower yourselves to the depths of others misery, in a false sense of sympathy for killers and oppressors. You did not turn these people to kill by enjoying freedom. Recognise your enemy for who he is. Cold blooded murderers. Stand up for what your grandfather and greatgrandfathers did for the world. Ther is nothing wrong with beleiving in the greatness of you country America, and it’s time to lose the fear of leading the world. We are it’s best hope for freedom.
