Proud to Be An American

How many people in this great country can say that? Apparently not many; nobody has anything positive to say about the Grand ole Country. Where we have the right to say what we want- which is one of our amendments, the freedom of speech. The opportunity to write what we want without being censored, whether its true or not it seems, but that is freedom. What other Country would allow that. What other country would allow me to let my feeling known; that I am disgusted with so many of the Americans in this Country. If these people are so unhappy they should return to their own country; if they were born here, perhaps they should live in a country without the freedom, the rights we have. Think about that!

We have the freedom to visit doctors of our choice in a timely manner. Whether we need a new heart to survive or a face lift to look more attractive; we have that right! Why? We are American’s where most of us, or our parents and grandparents paved the way to give us these rights. These right were not given or achieved easily, many suffered while thousands died.

In this great country we have the right to speak, what we wish. We are able to pray as we choose, whether it is Christianity, Muslim, or Jewish we are American and we are free to pray to whatever God or Supreme Being we chose. We are given the rights to obtain an education, whether we are White or Black, Spanish or Chinese, we are all equal and are deserving of a decent education. We believe we are all created equal and have the same rights; and we are free to fight for courses that we feel strong about.

So enjoy your freedom, and your rights to chose, for we never know what the future holds; or if we will have our rights tomorrow, since so many living here enjoying our almighty dollar, thinking and speaking nothing but negative things about my Country.
