REVELEALED: A DAY IN THE LIFE OF JULIAN ASSANGE.
Imagine having people send you death threats every week. Imagine having to be constantly tracked every day by the police force. Imagine being filmed at all times while in your home.
For 191 days, Julian Assange has experienced this, with more to come.
Assange has been under continuous public scrutiny recently for the alleged “rape crimes” he committed.
These stem sexual relations he had with two women in that country last August. One woman has claimed that Assange pinned her down to have sex with her and intentionally tore a condom he wore. The second woman claims that he had sex with her while she was initially asleep, failing to wear a condom despite repeated requests for him to do so. Assange denies such allegations, but can we ever be sure whether he is guilty or not or whether this is just a giant smear campaign? Is it a coincidence that these charges were only brought up years after the incidents happened, when Wikileaks started to become successful? Only time will tell, but if it is a smear campaign it certainly is taking its toll on Assange and the whole of Wikileaks.
Currently, he has been living under house arrest in the large country estate of Vaughan Smith (shown in the picture below), who is described as “a former army officer, journalist adventurer and right-wing libertarian.”
Assange has to wear an electronic ankle bracelet, reporting to police every evening in person and honoring a curfew, which has greatly disrupted the ability of Wikileaks to keep together and its colleagues to co-ordinate their actions.
Every day Assange is being monitored by multiple security cameras, and has to have his tracking bracelet checked on an almost daily basis too.
Assange’s passport has also been confiscated. All this despite not having actually been charged with committing a crime in any country.
One of Assange’s colleagues likened it to him being trapped like “a caged animal”.
To make matters worse, for Assange if he is extradited to Sweden, there is a possibility that he could somehow find himself extradited to the United States, where, it is theorized, he could face EXECTUTION for leaking secrets.
The days are looking worse for the man who resembles a Blood Elf, and who so many love and hate.
