Singular Focus in a Multi-task World

by Spuds Stuff in Society, May 19, 2007

Society is so fast paced these days. How about taking a singular focus in a multi-tasking world.

I believe we have gone too far with the whole multi-tasking and having multiple things on the go. While it is useful at times to be able to multi-task the mere fact you are juggling/doing more than one thing at a time means you are not fully devoted to either.

In the work place the pressures these days mean that you have to multi-task. This surely means that the actual quality of work being done in general is not to the standard that it should be. I have seen it first hand where pieces have work that didn’t get the undivided attention they needed are passed in when honestly they are below par in terms of quality.

I think society needs to slow down a little and definitely become more singular focused.
