Size Matters
Big things have a very productive purpose in life.
I have some weird theories about people with big noses. I believe such people are magnanimous, happy-go-lucky, and know how to laugh. Although it sounds stupid but I have observed that they live life their way and having said that, I do not mean that they do as they please without taking anyone else into consideration. But, it’s just that like their noses, their hearts and minds are also open.
One thing that comes into my mind, related to this phenomenon, is that it could be because they can breathe easily. Imagine someone with a tiny, small, carved, perfect nose. It’s so intricate that it’s a struggle to clean it thoroughly and if you have something stuck inside; it would take you a lot longer to get rid of it then our big-nosed friends. It’s stuck and you are outside, you adhere to social norms and don’t touch it out in the open. You know that you might not get to it immediately, and, it’s better to do it in privacy, so, till the time that you are out, it’s on your mind. You meet people, but, you can’t smile because it’s bothering you. Whereas a person with a generous space up there can easily free himself from the torture and won’t carry that around for long. He would breathe in the fresh air, fill his lungs with mouthfuls and grin all the way.
Similarly, people who pamper their guts generously also fall in the same category. I think that their love for food inculcates in them some basic good habits. They don’t waste much. They are open to eating anything that’s edible and do not degrade food by labelling it unhealthy or tasteless. They have their veggies and they have their meat. They are welcoming when a guest arrives, unannounced, because they have plenty to offer. A good time out, since eternity, has been going out for a meal. And when you go out with your foodaholic buddy, you are bound to have a fantastic evening. They are humorous, full of ‘joie de vi-vre’ and would not count the amount of calories you are taking in. Now where does that stem from?. Perhaps the ability to appreciate food, and, keeping their bodies from deprivation makes them less vulnerable than those who are cautious about what, and, how much they consume. This instigates a pleasant demeanour of sorts. Big smiling faces, that are satiated, greet you every time.
So, to wind up all this blabbering, it seems, big is better and size does matter!

haha…good one. I’d like to read more though. Maybe with a little bit of research into relevant ideas such as perception; are people with wide noses and wide eyes, big lips, generally viewed as warmer and more affectionate and also, is there a connection between general demeanor and the respiratory tract?
