Social Status: What Role Does It Have in Your Life?
by I could stay that status is one of the most important aspects of life. Simply put, people of low status are no talked to, nor offered jobs nor they achieve greatness where as people of high status do noble actions, they live for causes and they finally are the heroes of the small kids. What is status?
Social status is just the position you have in society according to Google.
Every kid’s biggest dream is to be the top of the social ladder. It’s what the movies show us to do, what competitions show us to make it’s what computer games teaches us. We all want to be the champion, king, best, leader, whatever designation you give it, we all want it and honestly it’s what makes me jump out of bed, it’s not the biggest reason for hard work, it’s the only reason for all my hard work. It feels so well to out do other people to be better to win competition that I know no other people that compares to it, not even sexual satisfaction.
Why is this social status so important?
In nature, and in life generally, those at the top get the most food, the better houses the more support from the community, more respect too, than those on the bottom of the social ladder. Those at the bottom are poor, not too well feed if at all, they dress poorly and they finally don’t have the values and the status. In nature battles one has to die every day, that guy is usually the low status one, the week, the sick, the feeds the lions. In civilization it’s the same thing, those who are not ultra intelligent will have to serve in toilet cleaning and the girls in prostitution, even though it’s illegal they still do it, and those who are smart will rise to the best paying jobs, to social respect and all good things life has to offer.
No wonder everyone wants to raises his status as much as he can.
How can you raise your status? The best way I read in the books is by learning and doing a better job. You can’t be as good as Lance Armstrong on his bike, you will never get the status he has, though you can be the best in the job you have currently. With more skills and intelligence you are ready for promotion and for more money and the rest of all good things the top of the food chain will deliver you.
The top of the social ladder is more than one thousands times better than the bottom yet only a few seats are available, only the best of the world will ever make to these seats. Take a look at world competitions, there is only onr first prize, the losers go home hands empty. This is the way of the world.
What job are you doing? If it’s the best you can or what you like the most, try to be a milionaire out of it and then write a book about it and sell on Amazon. Looks to simple to be done? It’s not simple, maybe something ou will never accomplish on this so called life, yet at least you live ABOVE YOUR level of life you are right now. Maybe you never make to the top of the ladder, at least move a few steps up, it’s better than keeping where you are right now.
