Society: My World Perspective
This is my own perspective on how I view society.
I look at a lot of things from an initial, conservative view. I can relate to the free spirited individuals who show no restraints and hurdle over all boundaries. I know that my conservative perspective comes from the fact that I was raised in church but my more liberal perspective comes from my experiences in life. I was not born with a silver spoon. My parents are from the islands and value hard work, religion, and education. I have to work full time to pay for my necessities as well as my luxuries. I don’t believe in abortions but I do believe that it is an individual’s right to make that choice. I know it may appears as a quick fix but an abortion may be the best option for a mother who is unable to raise a child emotional or physically. This choice benefits society in a long run because it will help eliminate the financial burden that may come along with providing necessities to this child or protect society from vandalism, theft or homicide which resulted from the child feeling unwanted or loved and may lead to more cost to the state for incarceration of this individual. I also don’t believe in having a child out of wedlock but I also don’t believe that a child should be the only reason that two individuals get married because this just hurts the child later on when both individuals realize that they having nothing in common but their child. I am all for an individual’s choice not only about abortions, but politics, dressing, lifestyle, religious, and etc. I don’t think it’s my right to impose my ideals on individuals and I am open to hear others’ views all the time.
To sum it all up, I view things as good and bad, but not as black and white. I understand that business is driven by greed, which is rooted in our selfish or bad side. I believe people should be free to make their own choices and society, instead of imposing their own views, should attempt to understand that individual’s perspective. I know and understand that caste systems exist and believe that as long as you can overcome the barriers and stereotypes created to defeat you then you will advance or be able to escape your class.
