Some Get All the Breaks
Life is not fair to most of us.
The highest paid people in society are the least productive in contributing to the NEEDS of the whole. Politicians, entertainers, and sports figures, earn salaries that reach into the multi- million figures. These people are “false idols” that sit in high places, and are WORSHIPED by the masses, who suffer and sacrifice to survive. The least paid workers in society, are the ones who contribute the MOST in providing services that benefit all mankind.
The common laborer is hard working and least recognized as a necessary asset in providing the “Basic Human Needs” available to keep mankind alive and well. Farmers world wide struggle to make a living, while rich crop owners mis use the land by growing plants to sell drugs. Or they simply let it sit idle instead of allowing the poor to grow crops on it.
In some countries poor farmers are made to grow crops that produce drugs instead of food;.
the rich land owners seek only to gain profits and become wealthy. The poor workers that are hired are not even able to feed their own families.
In the United States, the government pays farmers, “NOT” to grow crops, in order to raise prices in the market. That only benefits those who reap the wealth at the expense of the poor. World wide, people continue to die daily from starvation. The desire for wealth and power on the part of the greedy, is what determines the priorities set, which affect everyone.
Leaders in all societies expect and demand high salaries for their positions. They become likened to Gods, seeking , praise, honor, worship and wealth. Jesus was the greatest leader of all time. He never expected or demanded payment of riches or royal treatment for his position. He taught, “For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” (Gal. 6:3)
“As it is written, There is NONE righteous, No, not one.” (Romans 3:10) “But woe unto you that are rich: for ye have received your consolation. Woe unto you that are full! for you shall hunger. Woe onto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you; for so did their fathers to the false prophets.” (Luke 6:24-26)
Greed, the lust for power, control and self-centeredness is all that is required to obtain riches and popularity. The meek are easily lost in the dust of those who consider themselves worthy of rewards. The Bible teaches lessons of wisdom and love that shows us how to understand the value of GIVING. Self centeredness, greed, vanity and hard heartedness will only lead us to eventual damnation. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” When we give, we learn how to love. For the act of giving is an act of love.
The act of giving is received in the heart. The reward of riches through the act of self centeredness is by way of material wealth. We will all be judged by the desires of our hearts when we meet our maker on judgment day. If the desires of our hearts are directed toward the act of giving, our blessings will be granted by the love of our creator. If our hearts desires are to fulfill our own selfish wants, we will already have been rewarded in full.
Those who get all the breaks in life now, and use their good fortunes only to satisfy themselves, will pay for that action some place in time. We reap what we sow. No one tells us when that crop will be ripe enough to harvest.

I am so thrilled you mentioned entertainers and sports stars – as being over paid and over worshipped, I have felt this way myself.
Rich get rich by making others poor..
celebrities and sports people are NOT more important, they are just doing a job like the rest of us.. it just happens to be a better paying job because the rest of us allow it to be so.
In this recession people should boycott paying high prices for tickets to movies or games. And should continue to do so after the recession too.

Honestly ladybaby, you’re articles merit a larger platform than what Triond offers you. Your articles are just too good.

Ladybaby,
I agree with B Nelson. Why should we pay these celebs and sports stars millions of dollars a year. It takes a lot for people to save for a ticket to just one of these games. Give me a football so I can make ten million a year! Great article!!!
Keep up the great work!!!
