Images were shown on state television in South Korea
His father, Kim Jong-il, celebrates 69 years on Wednesday (16).

Kim Jong-chol, the second son of North Korean leader, Kim Jong-il, was caught by television cameras in the last 14 days in an Eric Clapton concert in Singapore, revealed on Wednesday (16) the public broadcaster South Korean “KBS”.

The second of Kim, 29, was caught in the stands of the stadium where the concert was held in the company of a group of about 20 people for a young woman sitting beside her.

The images, reported online by the South Korean broadcaster, shows Kim Jong-chol, known for being a diehard fan of American guitarist, with black shirt and jogging near the stage with ease.

At one point the camera approached the youth and his companions exchanged shouts and jostling with reporters to avoid recording the images.

This is the first appearance of the second son of Kim Jong-il since 2006, when it was seen in another show of Eric Clapton, this time in Germany.

The South Korean press described the young Kim Jong-chol as an NBA fan and pop music, and recalls that in 2008 invited Eric Clapton to do a concert in Pyongyang, a project that has not advanced.

His father, Kim Jong-il, who today completes 69 years, rose to positions of responsibility his third son, Kim Jong-un, cited as the likely replacement of the North Korean leader ahead of the communist regime.

Some analysts said Kim Jong-il would consider his second son “girly” enough for the power play, while his eldest son, Kim Jong-nam, 41, fell into disgrace in 2001 after trying to enter Japan with a forged passport under the alleged intention to visit Tokyo Disneyland.
