Day 9: Savaii. Ozzy and Elyse relax in a hammock and chat together. Jim feels Ozzy is a threat and needs to go soon, but considers taking out Elyze instead to break up Ozzy and Elyse’s bond. He tells Cochran his plan.
Meanwhile, in Upolu, Brandon decides to be a better person, player and a Survivor character. The rest of his teammates talk about him, behind his back, mostly because of his uncle Russell. Brandon talks to Edna.
Tree Mail–They get a large basket filled with bathing suits, and they decide to model these suits on the beach. Dawn, the forty-year-old Mormon, feels old, next to these slim and young girls. They also need to send two people to redemption island to watch the duel.
At redemption island, Jim and Cochran as well as Edna and Brandon are seated in the arena, ready to watch the duel between Christine and Papabear. Jeff explains the duel. They have to throw sand bags on top of large crates. Christine ends up winning and Papabear leaves the island.
Day 10: In Upolu, they look half asleep and grouchy as they wake up to make coffee or milk. Edna feels she needs to work on her social skills because this game is mostly a social game. But she tends to annoy others, especially Stacey, because she talks too much as well as has a lot of opinions about everything. Edna gives Coach a massage by walking on his back and giggling. Stacey watches her with great annoyance, often seen rolling her eyes. Dawn is seen chatting with Cochran, telling him that Elyse or Ozzy should go next.
Day 11: Immunity Challenge. Three people have a long pole across their shoulders, and two bags, used as weights, are piled on each side of the pole, two at a time. Whoever can carry the most weight without falling wins. The reward for the winning team is a crate filled with chickens. Each bag weighs ten pounds. During the first twenty-six minutes, Albert, Keith, Jim, Brandon, Stacey and Dawn are balancing their weights, and Jim and Brandon have the most weight. But Keith falls. 220 pounds are added to Jim and Brandon’s poles. Then, Albert falls. 240 pounds are added to their poles. Then, Jim struggles and falls. Brandon falls afterwards. It is now between Dawn, the forty-year-old who complains about her age, and Stacey, the hard black woman. They both struggle, doing a good job of lasting a long time with good stamina, balance, strength, and endurance. But Stacey falls with 140 pounds. Dawn wins for Savaii. Stacey is nervous because she feels that she could be blindsided. Edna tries to make an alliance with Stacey, but Stacey wants nothing to do with her. Then, Coach chats with Stacey. Stacey talks with Brandon. She tells him that he needs to look out for Mikayla, Sofie and Albert. He tells Coach what Stacey told him, and Coach tells him he is not interested in what she said.
Night 11: Tribal Council–Sofie states that she wants more balance in the tribe, and someone in particular needs to be out. Without naming any names, I am assuming she is talking about Brandon. They play an association game to see what they think of each person. Albert snores a lot. Edna talks too much. Stacey is difficult to engage with. Brandon is associated with his uncle Russell. Brandon breaks up and cries because of how others are treating him. He wants to reclaim the family name in a positive light. They each vote.
It is between Edna and Stacey, and Stacey is the fourth person sent to redemption island. Coach tries to hug her, but she pushes him away. Stacey arrives to see Christine, and she tells her everything, including tribal council and her tribe is a joke. Her plan is too spill everything during the duel.
The drama continues on Survivor. Tune in next time to see what Stacey says as well as what happened next with the tribes.
