Tastes I Miss: The Laing, Tacos in Spring Roll Cones, Hummus and Ruffles
A ramble on how I want these viands.
“Laing is by far, the Best Tasting set of vegetables i’ve ever tasted!”
I ate laing before when I was younger. I knew of the creamy, vegetable taste. Mixed with rice. The delectable taste. When mixed with the rice, the taste was very much ecstatic and fulfilling to the inner intestines. I care not if it was rainy, sunny or windy. As long as I had my fix of Laing, I am alright.
“Tacos in Spring Roll wrappers? Preposterous! *munches on one* Tasty!”
This viand was back then when I was like 7. It was a basketball game at my village, All that was served during that basketball game was either Red Hotdog sandwich or Cone-Shaped Tacos. They had the usual taco toppings of beef, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and cheese. At first, I was hesitant but then after the first bite, I tasted the taste that can never be found on normal tacoes. Cause the one thing that made it unique was the Spring Roll shells. Not only that but also the sauce that came along with it. I like the taste of it and it made me very fulfilled from that point on.
“Hummus”
I love hummus cause it’s tasty, simply put. I’ve tried hummus before at a Mediterranean restaurant. I loved the taste! I don’t know what else to day but it’s very good with pita bread.
“And lastly… a bag of ruffles”
What I’d usually go for with these bags of haven are simple: Hot Sauce and Mayonnaise. I use both condiments along with the Ruffles bag I have (Texas barbeque is my favorite flavor). I want more, this is the very viand I missed the most. I wish I can eat them once more. Who knows, someday when work’s abit lighter I might buy some and consume it while writing more articles.
Anyways, always cherish the moments you have with your favorite food. Remember it and have that hope of having them once more someday.
Have a great day. Oh and comments are appreciated.
