The Cell Phone Age
Cell phones.
How did we ever manage before the convenient invention of the cellular telephone? Before this phenomenal wave swept through the technology world, telephones were just needed for communicating with others. With the cellular breakthrough upon us, the cell phone is a way of life.
Every child aged five to twenty-five is so familiar with text messaging that they could do it in their sleep. Besides the ever popular feature of texting, cell phones are also used to play music, download information from the internet, take pictures, make videos, and arrange appointments on a calendar.
When cellular telephones first came on the market, they were a financial burden. Now they are so affordable. There is one for anyone’s budget. Different brands of cell phones have significant features and benefits to catch your attention. From flip-top covers to sliding closures, there are so many syles and colors to choose from. Every week seems to bring a new upgrade or feature. As cellular phones shrink in size, the price takes an upward spiral. This seems to be true of any new technology.
Some only want a cellular telephone for emergency use. Yet, the majority of cell phone users are tied to their phones like a necessary lifeline. Within the next decade, today’s version of the cellular telephone will probably become obsolete. New changes and bigger upgrades are surely on the horizon. What will be the next generation’s new wave of technology? Will it be able to replace the popularity of the cellular telephone?

I remember I myself was not into the cell phone splurge when it first came out, but after I broke down on a stormy rainy day on freeway, and no one helped me out for over 2 hours, the next day, I went and purchase one as a pay as you go, was never gonna be stranded like that again
