The Freedom to Say No

I was an aunt of the weekend to visit. During our many conversations, many of them with some ladies in the family (you know how women can get!), We started to talk about nutrition and health. We all wanted to be healthier, we decided to form a "healthy" our club. The question again and again that emerged was that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak! I could not say no to Oreo!

When I was thinking this weekend, I saw this as a great opportunity to serve my family each day in prayer. We’ve all been there. Whether to say "no" to Oreo or a sin that you’ve been calling it "theme" or "habit" that just seemed to have power over you, I have good news day TODAY: Today is day is free! God’s Word is so amazing.

The freedom to say no

I was an aunt of the weekend to visit.  During our many conversations, many of them with some ladies in the family (you know how women can get!), We started to talk about nutrition and health.  We all wanted to be healthier, we decided to form a “healthy” our club.  The question again and again that emerged was that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak!  I could not say no to Oreo!

When I was thinking this weekend, I saw this as a great opportunity to serve my family each day in prayer.  We’ve all been there.  Whether to say “no” to Oreo or a sin that you’ve been calling it “theme” or “habit” that just seemed to have power over you, I have good news day TODAY: Today is day is free!  God’s Word is so amazing.  How it accumulates in the Scriptures led to a paradigm shift for me:

And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt and prayed, KJV Luke 10:41 p.m.

In the first verse of our basic text, shows us not to go ahead and do anything without the intervention of God in him.  Ask for help.  There are more than willing to help, and he always says yes when we ask according to His Word.  (2 Chronicles 1v20)

Said Father, if desired, take this cup from me!  But not my will but yours.  KJV Luke 10:42 p.m.

Here Jesus is returned to us which we lost in Eden.  As you know, turned Adam and Eve’s dominance and authority over the enemy.  Eve was deceived but Adam was conscious.  In his actions, he was told, “it is God’s will, but mine.”  Here, in another garden, Adam took the second place, and not to stop what the first Adam did, but his flesh wanted to talk about God out of it (right?) Has been subject to the will of God.  At this first act of obedience, his next action makes us free.

And he appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.  And being in agony he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.  Luke 22: 43, 44 RV

First, I want you to notice something.  After Jesus submitted his will to the Father, he had power.  Are you tired?  Do you need strength?  Submit to the Father.  He told me to do something that seems impossible?  Ask for help and then click OK.  You will have the power to run.
