The Statue of Liberty: A Beacon of Hope
This is an article about immigrants entering the USA, their reasons, and how the Statue of Liberty is a symbol of their hopes and dreams for a better life.
The United States of America lives up to all that it stands for. Many immigrants had to deal with poor working conditions and cramped living conditions, but the freedoms and liberties they now had out weighed the latter. Many immigrants bettered their lives by moving out of the big cities and settling down elsewhere with family and/or friends near a decent paying job in decent living accommodations. America offered hope and freedom to immigrants and delivered this swiftly and justly. The United States of America gave immigrants a second chance at life and a promise of a better life for their children. America lived up to the dreams and hopes of all the immigrants seeking a better life.
