The Way “We” Define Ourselves

A reflection of the American Dream and our society as a whole, and what changes are needed to redefine this great nation.

Often we make the mistake of thinking that our limitations are determined by the extent of our circumstances. That we have no control of our destiny, and are at the mercy of an unprecedented fast paced and global economy. That the true strength and value of a nation is not based on its faith and sweat of its labored citizens; but is instead earned on the wealth of a country’s industrial capabilities, its natural resources, and its own natural rate of consumption. That our conviction is not measured on how well we manage to “stay the course “  a mist the face of adversity, but, is measured instead by how well we manage our  401k’s,  our IRA’S or other financial assets; as well as how stern we remain in pursuing a desired price for an item that is or could be on SALE!!!That we link the state of happiness by the amount of earthly possessions we are able bestow upon our name, and by the amount of respect, pride or envy we are able to create because of it. That the popularity and social status of a person, at any level, is considered more important than the moral judgment of an individual? I ask of you, where is that beacon of light? That sense of pride, for passion, for being selfless, courageous, and bold? Where is the American Way, which finds truth in meaningless acts of kindness, and embodies the torch for “life, liberty, freedom and the pursuit of happiness”? Where is that so called “burning desire” for self preservation, global empowerment, for unity, social responsibility towards family and domestic peace? Where is our civil duty to speak out towards political corruption, greed, and judicial impunity? Have we truly lost our sense of vision towards progress?  Have we lost our sense for National Sovereignty in maintaining a sense for constant resolve, towards improvement, and the conservation of the American Dream? Yes, this so call Dream may vary from time to time, but it is still the waiving glory that’s is pursued by many and still protected against our enemies, “foreign, and domestic!!!” Furthermore, we are a society that has become overly obsessed with the specialization of becoming systematic that we are no longer pragmatic, because we are constrained to see things negatively in thought, unilaterally in our approach; blindingly not capable to adapt to change, and in most cases fail to act on the universal truth that there is more than just one way of doing things in order to accomplish one’s goal. That our objectives should not follow the same policy of achieving the “means to an end”, but, to achieve the means to no end for continual change instead.  For time is constant, and thus the universe always expanding to the unlimited lengths of perfect harmony.
