The World Has Changed

Many things have changed over the years. Peoples values have changed and technology has caused it.

One improvement to the human world causes changes to our values. These days technology, creativity, and education is what most people think will lead to success. This may be true, but our intentions may not be the best. We do it for money?

Human being definitely had different values centuries ago. The reason is because they did not own much. They maybe had a small plot of land to farm, a small house, tools, and a family. These were the things they valued back then. If you had these things and extra you were considered a lucky man.

Nowadays people and companies change everyone of us, and everyone’s values. Companies such as Microsoft, Apple, McDonald’s, and every other big corporations made technology and foods that we craved for. Our values changed. Our values used to be a great education, a family to care for, a job we can hold on to, and true love.

All this has changed. Education is looked as something that you must have to even think about succeeding. Today education is losing much of its value because everyone is trying to get it, and many people already have high degrees. If everyone has a great education then that means no one is has it. When people get the education they need, they don’t see it as an achievement. People see it as a small step to getting a job. When they get the job, they look for the job that pays well, not the job they enjoy.

The value for education, love, joy, joyous jobs, and families have changed. People only get the education and well paying job so they can get the things that they think values.

Humans have removed education, jobs, and family as extreme values. They have replaced it with money and greed for technology. Ipods, PCs, Macs, cars, planes, and phones.

Do you see what what we have done to ourselves? We have replaced indestructible values that is with us forever and always, with things that will shatter and break if we so easily were to drop it.

A lot of companies don’t have moral standards. They just want to sell product no matter what the consequences.

Very well written. It’s hard to keep up with change, especially when you are getting older.

Saying that i’m still young. I wish

Technology and material things may change but family values should not. That is the challenge for today’s society. Good work on this article.

Yes, my fellow worldlander, but education is a product too. And industries are influencial in what gets taught to fullffill what industry needs and wants…and it really should be about people choosing what they are interested in.
