The World Will Convulse with Lust, If You Do Away with Harlots
Some people said never discuss topics about sex, politics and religions as they are very delicate subject topics. But I do not agree with their logics because – there are many issues that the whole society are involved on sex, politics and religions. Example – today my topic is about Prostitution. It is defined as the act or practice of promiscuous sexual relations, especially for money. Several words are used for a woman and a man who engages in illicit sexual activity for pay, including HARLOT, whore and prostitute.
This is an issue that people in general should know – why there are people have embraced prostitution? What our governments, religion and faith should do to stop prostitution?
Who will help these people involved in this craft? Some details about the subject are found on these links: what is wrong with prostitution, pruelpohealthwealthhappiness and pruelpowordpress.
How about children and youngsters who have gone through with prostitution? Should we condemned these people? They are not criminals!
Pope Benedict XVI, on his Pontiff’s words said, “Trafficking in human beings, especially women, flourishes where opportunities to improve their standard of living or even to survive are limited.”

You call prostitution a craft? And you’re proposing it to be legalized as I have read in your other links. Are you really serious about that? I shudder at the thought of that.
We do not condemn them for we don’t know what brought them to be involved in such trade. We do not judge…but neither should we condone this. May other solution dito kabayan…and clearly I cannot agree with legalization. Better to give those women and even men better options. But don’t push them down farther into the pits.

@Brewed Coffee – legalized is just a part of this writing. don’t take it seriously – it is a craft – ever started from the biblical period hehehe – kinabahan ako sa reactions mo Igan. In other countries prostitution is already legalized. Thanks.

@Likha and brewed, ako’y inyo nang pinagtutulungan hehehe.
Anyway, I respect all your views. I used “what if prostitution be lagalized” – that was only my suggestion. I know that the truth really hurts – thousand years ago, this old profession di pa rin masawata – for survival reason. Imagine that for one kilo of rice kapalit her flesh.
The worse thing children and teenagers ages from 10 and above are already with this craft.
This is a serious problem that the governments should take actions – kaya lang may mga kaso na hinahanap-hanap na ng may katawan ang ganitong kalakaran.
The question now – how to end prostitution?
I am happy Likha – na nagbahagi ka ng iyong saloobin. Carry on. Thanks.

Kabayan, I know that as writers, we are free to write anything we want. But that freedom entails responsibility. My apologies for being so opinionated about this. But this is a matter that is never a joking matter. I cannot NOT take this seriously because this is a serious topic sir. This is nothing personal too. But maybe a wake up call for all of us to be responsible about what we write about. You are an adult and most of us here are. But bear in mind that this is an open publishing site that minors can also have access to.
Just because this is legal in other countries, it doesn’t mean that we should follow suit. Ganon na lang ba tayo lagi, sunod sa uso? What’s next?
I’ve said my piece. Sensya kung na-offend kayo but I just feel bad for all those who are in this situation but that they are just forced to trade themselves for survival. That is a SERIOUS matter.

@Brewed Coffee, don’t worry friend it did not offend me. Mas gusto ko pa nga na talakayin ito because sa ganitong paraan magigising ang ibang tao na ang ganitong kalakaran is not really healthy.
I am happy that you and Likha have shared your opinions at para sa akin they are great.
This is an issue na dapat gawan ng solution ng pamahalaan ng bawat bansa to stop prostitution.
I watched a video. Imagine edad niya ay seguro between 9 and 10 year old girl – nakikipag chat sa isang manyakis. Pinaghubad siya at kung anu-ano pa ang pinagawa sa kaniya ng ka chat niya at ng kaniyang bugaw.
Seguro kung may magic lang ako tatanggalan ko ng kamay at mata yong ka chat ng bata.
Thanks again.

Indeed this needs to be talked about and discussed! My family is never hush-hush about sex although we are Christians!
Prostitution:
Pros: Money circulates, can help young/old men/women make money, jobs,
Cons: Prostitution rings, crime, etc

Pruelpo, bro, I think you received the longest comment from me for this article. It’s also the longest comment I made ever. Please know I do respect your views on the matter though I may not agree with you. Who says we should all think alike? Thanks for keeping an open mind. I knew you would. Diverse views teach us openness and respect for each other and help us grow in the process. Kabayan ka pa rin kahit anong mangyari. Walang nagbago..

@LOVELY HONEY, I agree with some of your best say on this matter – and they are nice share. I know at least that sex is part of normal life though it should be done with love and with art.
Not at all – through technology there are babies born by way of artificial planting of man’s semen to a woman’s womb – they are produced not from sexual activity.
Thanks for your time and commenting. I appreciated them. See you around again.
