Two Kinds of People

In my relation to people, both at work and during social interactions, I have come to realize that there are two kinds of people when it comes to occupying positions and getting the job done.

The bossy

The first group is made up of those who are very bossy. Once they get into a position, they try to make that position very high to the detriment of the job they are supposed to be doing there. They make the simplest thing look very complicated. They will keep on talking about how complex and how important their task is. They tend to scare people away from getting to know what is involved in doing that job so that they can protect their position. They are more concerned about the benefits of their position than the duties to be fulfilled

This group of people is very difficult to live with. When you have them as a friend, they make you feel as if you are not important, or you need them but they don’t need you. You have to lower yourself to please their ego.

The simplistic

The second group is made up people who adopt a rather simplistic attitude to their job. They will think of how to make whatever needs to be done look simple, no matter how complex, so that it is done in minimum time. People who are in this group are task oriented and will always think of what needs to be done and not how much they benefit from what is done.

These are people you love o be with, because they make you feel good about yourself. They are quick to see the great things in you and celebrate them. They move you to higher heights because of the encouragement you receive from them.

It is clear that out of these two groups, people who fall in the second category are an asset to any as a friend, a partner or an employee.
