I’ve often wondered what the real cost of living is in Dubai. It looks awesome for wealthy, educated people that have construction or energy expertise to offer. But, what about average folks hacking out a living in the middle class… or is there such a thing?

I am not living in a country that is ruled by islamic law…..as a woman i like my freedom and the ability to wear short sleeves and show my hair tyvm. Even if those draconian dress laws were not in place the derogatory attitude towards women would make me uncomfortable. Sorry Dubai…as a freedom loving female….i will never visit you or any other arab/muslim nation with dress codes for females.
