Want to Get Married to a Hollywood Celebrity?
The words ‘I do’ in Hollywood can often be mistaken for meaning ‘you’ll do, for the time being’. Here are some of the most married… and divorced celebrities. Make sure you think twice before tying the knot with one of them.
Celebrities who’ve been divorced 4 times:
Martin Scorsese In 1999 he took Helen Morris down the aisle and this one does seem to have a Hollywood ending.
Lisa Minelli – Her most recent marriage in 2003 lasted barely a year.
Joan Collins – Her current husband Percy Gibson has managed to hang on to her since 2002. Good luck to him!
Celebrities who’ve been divorced 5 times:
Billy Bob Thornton – His last divorce was to lose Hollywood’s leading lady Angelina Jolie. What were you thinking Billy Bob?
Danielle Steel – Writer of romance fiction, one can only suppose she is looking for a romantic hero suitable to rival her stories. Men just aren’t like that in real life Ms Steel!
Celebrities who’ve been divorced 6 times:
Jerry Lee Lewis – His walk of fame down the aisle consisted of marrying his 13 year old first cousin. Need I say more?
Robert Evans – A very poor prospect for marriage indeed as not one of his unions lasted more than three years. In fact one managed to last just 9 days!
Celebrities who’ve been divorced 7 times:
Elizabeth Taylor – This leading lady never learned from her mistakes as she had to divorce Richard Burton twice. It obviously wasn’t satisfying enough the first time.
Image via Wikipedia
Zsa Zsa Gabor – ‘I’m an excellent housekeeper’ she has been quoted as saying. ‘Every time I get divorced, I keep the house.’
Mickey Rooney – His current marriage to Jan Chamberlain has lasted 30 years, so he must have got bored with his white merenge dress fetish.
Larry King – With his love affair with talking he really must learn to curb the use of those famous four words.
Celebrities who’ve been divorced an amazing 8 times:
Lana Turner – She’d obviously forgotten she’d married and divorced Joseph Steven Crane and decided she’d better do it again. Nasty case of amnesia that.
So the moral of this story is… are there any morals in Hollywood?

Celebrity status sadly does not bring with it moral intelligence, or class. The personas of these people on the silver screen often belie their lack of decency and any form of social grace.

Wow, had no idea Larry King had been divorced 7 times. Your right, guess all his talking bored or scared them into divorce. Thank you for sharing.

4-6 times divorce? that’s totally dramatic… they got a lot of hollywood stuff in their head and they don’t know what’s real and what’s not…
They’ve totally wasted their time on the marriage..

OMG, I didnt realise Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old cousin, that is outrageous. Hollywood is certainly a different world. Really enjoyable post, thanks Ann.

When egos are so large, as they are in Hollywood, it is difficult for these people to find true love and happiness. I can not even begin to imagine what it would be like to have people fawn over every word I spoke or action I took. Are the fans and the media somewhat to blame for making these people think they walk on water? I think many live a fast life in a fast lane while skipping a moral code.
