Why Our Children are Being Dumbed Down with an Endless Stream of Mind-Numbing Garbage

[They] Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV

John Lennon penned these words almost 40 years ago, and they form one of the verses from his “Working Class Hero” anthem for the people.

The song was widely regarded as a warning of the dangers of being sucked into “the system”.

The message is as relevant today as it was then.

The placebo of religion, the temptations of sex and the garbage that is TV all play a part in the dumbing-down process.

Ironically, dumbing down the population begins in schools, where children are taught to follow instructions in readiness to take their place in a robotised society.

Curiosity, which is vital to learning, is discouraged.

Kids are also distracted from taking an interest in society and culture.

And when these children get home from school, what’s the first thing they do?

They turn on the TV, the second major factor in the dumbing-down process.

It serves up hour upon hour of mindless trash to keep our kids from actually thinking about anything.

If your children aren’t glued to the TV they’re probably staring transfixed into a computer screen.

In today’s hi-tech society, the internet can be a huge dumbing-down factor as kids spend hours playing games or using Web 2.0 social network sites.

The dumbing-down process distracts children from seeing things as they really are and prepares them to enter adulthood in an unquestioning, zombie-like state.

This is how the powers-that-be exert control over the masses.

They catch them while they are young.

They “system” is following the mantra of the Jesuits – “Give me a child and I’ll give you the man.”

And the Jesuits knew a thing or two about mind control.

And you think you’re so clever and classless and free

But you’re still ******* peasants as far as I can see
