It validates what has been happening with me lately. I am typically very shy and don't like to approach people. Since I totaled my car I have been taking public transportation which connects me with more people. When I do decide to initiate a conversation, even very small I usually get warm responses, information, job leads, etc. I am finding that most people I meet are just like me in some way, therefore they don't feel like strangers.
