Have you NO idea what, in MOST societies for the past few millinea, women had to have gone through in patrilineal societies??? Actually, I think you do, I think all you did was write down how WOMEN are treated in PATRILINEAL societies and switched it so it was talking about the MEN instead. And the fact that WOMEN are 100% and completely, irreviccably able to do anything a man can do is NOT "strange." The ONLY difference a matrilineal society has from a partilineal one is the impotance of the genders, that's IT. How can you call matrilineal strange and say that patrilineal is normal???? Now it is sad that in BOTH societies, one gender is more impotant than the other, I would prefer a bilineal society where neither gender has to " sit in the house and do all the daily chores." You SHOULD have stopped your article at "Among the two...is the Kashi tribe." THAT should have been your LAST sentence, instead you go on to slam matrilineal societies by making it sound like the women are terrible tyrannts. You give no positives and you say NOTHING about how women are treated in a patrilineal society. This "article" is nothing more than a hate attempt at matrilineal society when it SHOULD be a place to get accurate info on lineal descant.
