Gender Battle: Is It Better to be Born a Male or Female?

Before you’re born, you don’t have the option of deciding your gender. Although the world revolves around the existence of both men and women in a relatively equal ratio, which sexual category is better?

The following program contains mature subject matter and scenes of sexual content. Viewer discretion is advised.

Men claim, “Women. You can’t live with them; you can’t live without them.” Women claim, “Boys will be boys.” Gay men claim that being with another man is better than living up to the expectations of another woman. Lesbians claim that boys lack the emotional feeling and touch that women have. All of this is, of course, in reference to both the positive and negative aspects of both genders.

Many game shows often pit men against women in what’s known as the “Battle of the Sexes,” so to speak. When the men win, they claim to be superior over the women. When the women win, they claim to be superior over the men. Alright, so a little friendly competition doesn’t hurt anyone. But the real purpose of this article is to determine which gender, if any, it’s better to be born as.

Advantages of Being Male

·         More physically-inclined.

·         No pregnancies or menstruation.

·         Often doesn’t worry about physical appearance.

·         Often given less responsibility with regards to housework.

·         Hands are more acidic; therefore, less chance of getting sick due to less germs.

Among other advantages to being a male, there are 5 important ones. Let’s explain each one of them.

First of all, and most obvious, is the advantage of being physically-inclined. Some people classify this as males having more brawn than brain. Keep in mind this isn’t completely true, as proven in Einstein and the many other males – past, present and future – that were, are, and will be incredibly intelligent. I think the realization is that in general, the majority of males are physically stronger than females, though there are exceptions.

I think all males are grateful in that they don’t have to tolerate the pain associated with pregnancy that women have to endure while delivering a newborn child.

Most of the time, males don’t have to worry about their physical appearance. While they prefer to work out at the gym so their muscles appear toned, it’s not as common among males to worry about the purely aesthetic differences separating them from other males.

Well brace yourself for your comments that will be appearing in your box :)

‘Often is treated by parents with more compassion than males, i.e. when a boy gets into trouble, compared to when a girl gets into trouble.’ -Sadly not in my case.

Some ladies do have to shave daily.

Either party can hurt themselves masturbating.(I know because I have dealt with patients who have) I have a horrible picture in my mind at the moment, it is going to take a while to get your escapade out of my head my friend LOL

I personally feel all are equal in this world today, it is just a case of who gets the balance right, who doesn’t have a chip on their shoulder and having respect for each other.I am happy as I am thanks..female
    Interesting article.

Interesting article. I’m glad I’m a woman, even though, we suffer more than men, in my opinion.

Lol.. I’ve often wondered what it would be like to be a guy, especially when camping. Guys can just whip it out anywhere, and done deal. Us ladies have to find a bush to squat behind…lol! Although, I do like being a girl sometimes because (and I know some women will boo at me for saying this), having curves has helped me in life. But thankfully my father instilled in me to use my intelligence to get me further in life. Now that I think about it, it’s a toss up.. ;)

Interesting topic. Anyway, I believe man and woman are created to complement each other.

I think attractive women have the easiest and most exciting lives, but if women are born with bad genetics and are ugly, they will have to work hard their whole life, and their lives often seem pretty sad. I would choose to be born a really attractive woman over a guy, but would rather be a guy before being an “average looking” girl.

I would rather be born male any day. All my hobbies are male dominated, as is my career and it’s extremely lonely. You aren’t taken as seriously I have found, and people change their persona when you come into the picture as to not ‘offend’ you. Trust me, I can belch better then most guys. Because I am small, I often get guys asking me if I need help with anything like groceries. It’s nice but don’t get me wrong, I am quite strong for my size (All the girls in high school were scared of me when it came to things like wrestling). Because I am female I have to be concerned with things like “Is he trying to get into my apartment to rape me?” or such as we have heard has happened. Same goes for my walks I like to take at night time; because I am a small female I am more likely to be followed, and I have been. Also the body functions; Vaginas are messy even when not menstruating and menstruation comes at the worst times despite me having a 32 day cycle. Weekend out at Clinton War? (SCA) It’s there. Moving out this weekend and being on the road a lot? It’s there. Birthday excursion coming up? It’s there. I have to put synthetic hormones in my body to avoid the gut wrenching pains and crotch spawns that could come if I don’t. I am blessed with a face that looks attractive without makeup but I dislike how to be ‘attractive’ I am encouraged to put on face paint to biologically mimic the face of an aroused female. People also act like I am breaking some social contract when I say I do not want children (I really really really am not into children. Never played with dolls at any point in my life even as a child. Always transformers, trucks, swords, power rangers ect. I held a baby and was like “O..k…” and handed it back and went about my business. Don’t get me wrong, Im a nice person!)

I have many more things to list but I will leave it at that.

Honestly, I feal that some things in this article are VERY wrong. For example, it was said that girls are better at english, art, music and drama. Actually girls do better in almost ALL subjects, (not just “artsy” ones) than boys, due to the fact that girls can sit still through a lesson better than boys and actually the average girl is 10 iq points smarter than the average guy. 9/10 mentally retarded people are men, but 9/10 geniuses are also men. Girls in general are smarter than guys, though a guy is more likely to be a genius since there is more variety in guys intelligence, there are more mentally retarded guys, so that brings the average iq down.
Actually, the only subject guys on average have an advantage on is math, but only at university level. At my school when there was a math competition all three winners were girls, but when you go to higher education guys are more likely to study math further.
Also the vase breaking thing… My parents would be pissed at me if I broke a precious vase, they would be more forgiving to my brother since he has the “boys will be boys” excuse, but since I am a girl I am not supposed to be so roudy as to break anything. Also everytime my cloths get messy my mom wonders how a girl can be so messy, meaning it would be more ok if i were a boy.
There it was said that a girl gets away with things more, but that is only true is you are an attractive girl. An ugly girl has to put up with much worse treatment than an ugly guy, since guys are more looks oriented than girls.
Also I look at pregnancy as a pro, not a con.

i think you need to consider the “value” of the reasons. for example, no PMS is 5 out of 5, while more acidic hands is 1 out of 5. meaning that people don’t care about having acidic hands more than having no PMS.

I would definitely rather be a woman. I view pregnancy as a pro. Being a guy kinda sucks.
