Patriarchy in a Modern Society
Patriarchy is well know in societies which favor fathers as the leading authority in the family. It is especially from Greece that Patriarchy has all its importance.
Patriarchy is that fact that the children of a given family are considered primarily with the link to their father. Patriarchy has gained its importance in societies for example in Greece. This last country was very important long time ago. Greece was a big empire in the South of Europe from Greece to Turkey. One of the important leaders of Greece was Alexander the Great. Greece was also in Egypt where it created the international city of Alexandria now called Alexandria.
So, patriarchy is first of all a word that most ethnologists use to describe who has the authority in a family. That is also how populations learn how the wealth is distributed for example in France; the younger son of the family inherited the property of the family.
Therefore, it is important to know the father of your child to make sure the child will be loved in the future. And there is no need to abuse the fathers who have children because there are from this or that origin.
