You have to do it at least thrice a week.
All what you need is just you have to be empty stomach for at least 3 to 4 hours before doing it and wear your easy loose clothing and sit on the exercise mat or on floor in yoga sitting position with cross legs, patients can do it on their bed too
- First of all do deep breathing with your eyes closed inhale and exhale through your nose for approx five minutes and then relax lie down for 2 to 3 minutes
- Then sit again with your straight back on the yoga mat or floor and then block one of your nostrils and deep inhale from the other side which is open then exhale it from the other side with same level of pressure which you have inhaled and then from the same nostril which you have exhaled inhale from it at the same time block the opposite nostril and keep doing the same inhale and exhale breathing with your nostrils do this for approx five minutes continuously
- Never breathe from your mouth during these breathing yoga exercises Inhale and exhale from both nostrils together and then hold your breath as long as you can easily do it for approx five minutes.
- Then lie down and relax one can increase these breathing exercises from 5 to 15 minutes each set as total time you can increase from 15 to 45 minutes but even 15 minutes thrice a week can also bring wonders in your life and inner positive well being.
