Dreams: God’s Guide to Life

Ever wonder what happens to your mind when you dream?

Dreams are images in the subconscious and they tell a future, past, and present self evaluation of ones life.  Can dreams be interrupted, I would say yes, but not by anyone else except yourself.  It’s your subconscious that is speaking to you, and you alone.   One way of analyzing your dreams would be to have pen and pad by the bed and when you wake up write down whatever you remember of the dream.  Start with the overall scope of dream, “Running for life, being chased by Vandals”.  Next identify the people that appear in the dream and the location, and finally the write down the emotion that you felt while dreaming.  For example, “Running for my life while being chased by Vandals”,  probably sounds like it would have a fear emotion to it, however, that wasn’t the case.  I was the hero in my dream, so the emotion was responsibility and leadership.. I am not sure if those are emotions, but you get the picture..   I wake up about every two hours after I get about 4 hours of sleep, so I am constantly waking up from dreams..  After about a month of writing down these three bits of information, now it’s time to self analyze what is written..  I also think it’s a good idea not to reread what you wrote until the 30 days have passed.  This will give you a fresh look at all the material. Now, comes the fun part.   So, what have we found???  Who comes up in your dreams most?   Where are these dreams located?  I have found that once you know more about your own dreams, your actual dreams become clear, and in term life becomes clearer.   When you are a child, your mind wonders and “day” dreams about life, this is where people’s aspirations in life come from.  ”I want to be this when I grew up” etc… When you grow older, responsibility and life dominate your thoughts, limiting time for the mind to explore possibilities, and most of it is reserved for dreams, prayer, and meditation..  I find that most people I know, seldom meditate or pray, leaving dreams as the last escape.. Well, if this is all the open time we have, then in the beginning the dreams will be random and uncontrolled.   The more you hone the skill of dreaming the more precise the dreams will become.   Thoughts can become reality.  It’s time to become a dreamer.
