Even in the dark times

The path reveals itself in many ways. And how people reveal their wants to you varies in as many ways as there are stars in an unclouded night sky. Subtle hints are the way we communicate now and live in fear of offending someone. I am still not sure as to what is better: not offending anyone which may equal stagnation of the arts and imagination of conscious peoples, or total Anarchy which would have people doing anything they damn well please which would not doubt upset everyone, because no two people share the exact same meaning of “offensive.” People get so pissed so easily. Oh, did that upset your sense of “offensiveness?” Hard to tell what upsets people, and I certainly wouldn’t want to upset anyone. I guess, with all things, moderation. But therein lies another problem-what, to you, is moderate. Put another way: what for you is happiness?

Besides, when you get right down to it, life is just a bunch of perceptions we’ve all agreed to agree upon. I think therefore I Am, right? So if this is agreed upon then we have a good starting point. If not, stop; throw this to someone who can agree upon the prior point because you have no further use to me. Everybody here…we shall continue. So most humans agree that we think so therefore we must exist as to make my perceptions easier, I’ll go with the majority and say that my thinking or, what we call consciousness constitutes what we agree to call “I.”

Defining things and association is difficult and I appreciate all our ancestors’ effort into making it much easier for the rest of us to communicate. I think tough that something got mucked up along the way because there is much confusion and suffering in the world. And I fear that it will always be that way. Let us try and figure the best way to live with the least amount of suffering shall we?
