How I Meditate
This is a short article for anyone who is considering mediatation. I have told just a few of my experiences. If you choose to meditate, it will change your life for the better.
I have been meditating for over twenty years. My style is a bit unorthodox. Most meditation experts will tell you never to lie down because you may fall asleep. They will tell you to use a sitting position. I was taught by a little black book published in the early 1900’s.
I lie down on my bed and use breathing techniques to get started. I breathe deeply through the nostrils, deepening every breath and concentrating on the breathing. This helps clear my mind of thoughts that rush into my mind. At first, it was very difficult to clear these thoughts away, until I learned they need to flow through my brain to be set free. I cross my ankles and place my hands crossed on my chest. Then I imagine a white light, starting at my toes and slowly filling up every inch of my body to the top of my head. This was difficult at first, but after years of practice, I can do this instantly now.
The next step is to enter the stream of consciousness that flows through the ethereal realm of every human beings thoughts, ideas and words. At this point my soul has gone from my body into the stream. What a wondrous place to be. I have seen everything from spectrums of colors to beautiful scenery of space and can feel others emotions and thoughts. If I want to concentrate on one particular person, my soul being can see where they are and what they are doing. If I want to seek wisdom, a whole new dimension opens and I find that every question I ask is easily answered. Perhaps this is from the Creator, for I then feel very open to enlightenment.
From the stream, I can develop my understanding of life and death. I have learned that death is actually being born into another realm and that physical birth is actually the beginning of death. I know that may be hard to understand unless you have been there, but I believe it to be true. I have learned that the only thing important in our being is love. Nothing else truly matters. I do not speak of romantic love, but a feeling of love for all creatures and all mankind. If you travel far enough, you will encounter beings of light. I believe they are angels. They will talk to you, mentally of the things your soul needs to do to prepare for your future. They will tell you that you we are all children of the Creator. Just as those of you who have children, when we are bad we will be punished and when we are good we will be rewarded. I continue to journey through this stream, always finding something new to discover.
If you have never meditated, you do not know what you are missing. It does not have to be the way I meditate. You must find the way that suits you best. If you are seeking knowledge and enlightenment of the soul, you should strongly consider meditation as a beginning to a path that will lead you toward who you really are meant to become.

A great technique for meditation. I too have been meditatin on and off for three decades. I have an article coming out in the next couple of days about a system from Australia that was developed by a man who studied with Tibetan masters. It is called the Perfect Meditation program. Check it out. Thanks for promoting meditation to the world.
Blessings in Light and Healing.
