Try this exercise if you must make a decision and are unable to make your mind up. Sit in a comfortable position, in a place where you will be undisturbed for a short period of time, with a notepad and paper. Maybe play some relaxing music, light candles or burn some incense or aromatherapy oils to help you relax too.
Write a list of questions on the pad, one on each page leaving plenty of space for the answers. Make every effort to still your mind of normal every day thoughts. Close your eyes for a few moments breathe slowly and deeply, release all attachments to any answers you may hope of getting. When outside thoughts creep into your mind, simply push them aside by looking at them and just letting them go.
Now open your eyes and ask your questions out loud if possible, not to anyone, but just say them out to the universe. Listen, not with your ears, but with your heart for your answers. The first thing that comes into your mind after asking a question will be a possible answer, look at it, write it down, including any images, feelings or words that may come to mind too and then move on to the next question. Repeat this until you have asked all your questions. Don’t think too much about what you are writing just allow it to flow from you.
When you have finished look at the answers you have written down. Working this way enables you to free up your thoughts and gain insight into your true feelings and desires, without intrusive emotions getting in the way. The answers your higher self reveals may just surprise you!
