Labor, Chakras, and Meditation
Becoming a mother is no easy task, but preparing for it just may help things along. As with everything in life, practice makes perfect so is the case with meditation and relaxation methods. If you decide to wait until the very end, you will go in there totally unprepared and probably you wont have the type of birthing experience you were hoping for.
The other way in which one may find it easier to clear their chakras is by using color. This way is less complicated in the sense that it is easier to picture colors, for example red for apples, and yellow for bananas. The way color is used is again starting at the top of your head visualize the color purple, and relax surrounding your head in purple as your working into a violet color. With the violet color picture the changing of color; relax your face, your brow, and your chin. Once you have this accomplished slowly move to the next color, the light blue which represent the throat, giving you that ability to speak out, to moan and groan; this is your throat chakra. Once you have yourself very relaxed move onto green, back to matters of the heart, release any negative energy, any hatred it is wasted energy, now it is the hope that you are completely at ease as you move down to the yellow and orange chakras, the yellow telling you, “YOU CAN DO IT, while the Orange will be the power behind you. It is best to arrive at this point as a wave, or contraction is upon you, since you can do it and it is within you, the power to do it, not because you have to, but because you want to. Now completely relax as you picture the red, the bright red of a Red Delicious Apple, it is grounding you to the power the energy of the earth. Now completely wrap yourself in the rainbow of color. As with the stones, you may want to start from the head again, or you may want to bring forth revitalized energy from the earth, and start from the tailbone, your red charka.

Either Charka cleansing method works wonders, if you allow your mind to relax, you begin as early as possible to practice daily. With or without a partner you can still practice repeating, relaxing and just staying focused. You may want to bring an Ipod to the hospital or a CD player to play low soothing music.

As labor moves along, many woman turn inward, and just want to be left alone wrapped up in the moment of relaxation and soft music, no to be interrupted or touched. So start today, and really practice, empower yourself to bring forth the most precious gift of all, a beautiful tiny baby.
