Meditation

A look at meditation and beyond.

I started meditations some years ago as a calming aspect to dispel my moodiness at the time and I found at a local library one that encompassed a breathing technique involved with the meditative path. I was instructed to sit in an upright position on a rigid chair. Then, it said to breath at different rates of counts inhale and exhales. Over time it must have worked cause I was told I had become calmer now which was pleasing to me. The time had come I had a friend who read Tarot cards and told me to meditate you must open the body chakras and allow the energy to flow there are seven chakras in all. 1. crown,2.third eye,3.throat,4.heart,5.solar plexus,6.groin,7.genitalia/instep of feet for those who wish to evade sexual content. Cleaning of your aura and taking in breath as you inhale and slowly release as you exhale. As a measure use a 4×4 breathing exercise. Start with the open crown and slowly advance to third eye focusing on that energy allowing the chi to flow to the heart region and feel the total warmth there and release the blood flow to every part of your body send it through to the other chakras  and reverse back and then back again. One should place the mind in neutral to begin with and just let it flow and see what comes of it. We are all different and will as such experience varying levels through the meditation. Try to meditate for at least twenty minutes and once practiced extend it a little longer. We will see in future writings I will discuss other methods and flow on psychic awareness chapters.
