Meditation: Part 3
This is a personal view of my own meditation in this my third posting.
Sitting in meditation so early in the morning, where there is only the chirp of birds in this being our Spring season. I have a Buddha Bust statue, with a candle that I light beside it. The room is bathed only in candle light as I greet Buddha with my hands clasped in an apex and bowing my head three times in honour of the moment. I sit on my stool chair this time, and begin my breathing. The breath is a four by four as has been discussed earlier.Breathing deeply and slowly in and slowly out. My whole body is related to the energy which I feel as I am totally relaxed and as I expel all breath outwards feeling such relief from any stress. This time I remain with eyes open staring at the beautiful candle flame see that it has a calming energy as it relates to you. If there is unusual flickering that is strong it suggests a restlessness within. Empty your mind of all current thoughts so you are neutral and open all of your chakras and let the pure energy flow feel the warmth of the Chi energy as you continue to concentrate on that flame and its outer lines just like an aura and soon you will see some shapes if you are meant to. If you elect to sit close to the candle, at the completion of your session blow out the candle from where you sit. If you can blow it out this means your energy is stronger and as times goes by sit a little farther each time. It is a very good to listen to some music for your session and you can find tapes or compact disc recording at any number of places. I have found basic to advanced copies at the local library. You may prefer silence it’s all a personal preference.
