Out of Body Meditation

This guided meditation will allow you to float out of your body and go on a journey to where ever you may choose.

For maximum benefit record the following script and play back through ear phones.

Begin by settling yourself down and making yourself comfortable.

When your ready allow your eyes to close.

Now it is time for you to go into complete relaxation

But you need to remember that just before you do that if you feel the need to cough, scratch, sneeze or move that this is perfectly OK.

You will not disturb yourself by moving, scratching, coughing or sneezing, in fact if you do you will relax even deeper.

Also remember don’t try to hard, don’t try to make things happen, don’t try to stop things happening, just allow your mind to wander, where ever it wants to go.

Because as you relax you will automatically notice things going on, interesting or curious thoughts, sensations, inside and outside your body, or even both, maybe at the same time, so just remember you don’t have to think, or try to do anything, anything at all but relax.

Now begin by taking a deep breath, as deep as you can.

Hold it for three and then slowly exhale, notice how much better you feel, just by taking that deep breath.

Take another deep breath, but this time as you exhale, notice how you let go of all tension and tightness, feel how much more in control you are beginning to feel.

Continue to relax with each breath you take and feel how all tension, tightness, stresses and strains are beginning to drain away, float away with each breathe you take.

More and more relaxed with each breathe you take, more and more relaxed.

Notice how your entire body is just relaxing, totally relaxing, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Just completely relaxing, automatically relaxing, as you begin to feel safe, secure at peace with yourself.

Know that there is no pressure, no need to rush, no one to please, no one to satisfy, as this is your time.

Your time to rest and enjoy the gentle peacefulness of letting go.

Just letting go, quietly and gently, with nothing to bother you, nothing to disturb you, as you relax quietly, knowing only that this is your time to unwind and let go.

And as you unwind and let go, notice how you feel like you want to drift away.
