Personality Types: You are The Colour You Choose
People’s favourite colours can tell us a lot about their personality, or any issues they may be facing in life. Read on to discover what your color choice says about you….
Have you ever got up in the morning, gone to your wardrobe and found – despite the fact their are (far too) many hangers of clothes – you have nothing you want to wear? Have you ever suddenly decided you need an olive green or magenta jumper, or a bright red pair of trousers, when you don’t usually like these colours? Have you ever felt the need to eat fruit or vegetables of a certain colour? Has there been a time when you felt compelled to decorate a room an entirely different colour? Or suddenly hated or gone off a colour you’ve loved and had to replace things and redecorate as a result? Why is that?
We are naturally attracted to colours that resonate with our unique moods and thoughts. Sometimes we unconsciously know we need to feel the vibratory effects of a particular colour, so we bring it into our environment in whatever way we can. Clothes are a very simple way to do so, and it’s amazing what you can tell from someones choice in clothing colour.

Each colour is associated with certain moods, actions, or states of being, and can range from one end of the scale to the other on every association: for example, red can mean lots of energy or complete lethargy; yellow can mean clarity or confusion. Also, because most colours are made up of two or more colours, there is hidden meaning within any colour other than the three primaries (red, yellow, and blue). Hidden colours represent unconscious, repressed, or suppressed issues or aspects of our personalities.

Here’s a list of colours and the kinds of personality-types that would choose them, or the kind of issues that would cause one to require the benefits they provide:
Pink – Someone with a strong feminine nature, or someone who experiences difficulty with their feminine side, with their own mother, or with being a mother to their children.
Red – A determined person with lots of energy and a highly sexual nature, or someone lacking in energy and motivation, also lack of libido. Possibly a martyr-type personality, or a risk-taker and lover of danger. Can also mean an angry person.
Coral - Possibly someone with dependency or co-dependency issues. (Hidden red and yellow also present.)
Orange – A bubbly personality with good social skills, a creative person. Possibly someone who’s suffered an emotional shock or trauma, which could be sexual in nature. (Hidden red and yellow.)
Gold – A warm person with much wisdom, or someone lacking wisdom. A person with addictions or an addictive personality. (Hidden red and yellow.)
Yellow – Someone with a strong intellect and a sunny disposition, or someone suffering from confusion, anxiety, or an eating disorder (anorexia nervosa or bulima, for example).
Green – A balanced person or, conversely, someone needing balance. Possibly a jealous person, or someone lacking their own space. An indecisive person or someone with an important decision to make. (Hidden be and yellow.)
Turquoise – Either a person who’s in touch with their true feelings and able to communicate them easily and openly, or someone experiencing the exact opposite, yet needing to do so. (Hidden blue and green.)
Blue -A calm, peaceful person with excellent communication skills. Someone with a strong masculine side, or who has issues with their masculine nature. Possibly someone with trust issues or communication problems, also problems with the father or fatherhood issues; problems with authority in general.

Violet – A very spiritual person (religious or otherwise) with a deep understanding of life. A mystic or a capable healer. Someone close to death or suicidal. An escapist, possibly a drug user. (Hidden blue and red.)

Interesting, my favorite color to wear, which is what also looks best on me is RED! I also wear alot of black and brown… cannot stand to wear yellow or corals. I use to be a big purple fan… I was fairly manic depressive at that time.

Interesting article. I seem to have a lot of hidden red and yellow according to your theory.

But all of these traits are ridiculously negative… it doesn’t seem very accurate at all…
But my color isn’t on there… nothing even close… ):
