Self-Hypnosis Scripts: Powerful Confidence and Total Relaxation

And now, I want you to use your imagination. I want you to imagine, that you are walking along a straight path, through a lush green forest. The sky above is blue, and there’s a wonderful smell of pine, and flowers in the air. You are listening to all the sounds of nature, and there is absolutely nothing for you to do, but to enjoy this calm, quiet walk through the forest. And here in this part of the woods, nobody wants anything from you, and nobody expects anything from you. There is absolutely nothing for you to do, but to relax, and enjoy. And as you walk, you take in the surrounding beauty, a beauty that envelops your senses, with wonderful feelings of peace and calm. It feels as though you are completely at one with yourself, as you allow your mind to drift deeper, and deeper, deeper, and deeper (Pause). The old, negative thoughts you once had, have now been left behind in the past, for good, as you walk happily and assuredly along the straight path, where the warm sun gently filters through the trees, and touches off your skin. And while you move calmly and gently, you now realize that you are feeling better, better than you have felt in a long time. You feel as though you are completely free. Free to be happy, and free to move on from anything that does not make you happy. Maybe in the past you wondered if you were ever going to feel completely free. Well now you are, and from this moment on, you remain that way. This realization is now in your heart, is now in your mind, and is now in your soul (Pause). And now the child within you is beginning to surface and wonder, and daydream like you once did as a child. And like a child, you now simply observe all the beauty that surrounds you. And while you look and listen, relaxing perfectly and completely, you notice how easy it is to breathe the fresh pure air into your lungs. Now you are completely in control of your breathing. You are breathing calmly, gently, smoothly and easily. And the more you breathe, the more you relax, and the more you relax, the better you feel. And the more you breathe, the more you relax, and the more you relax, the better you feel. Relaxing deeper, and deeper still, just letting go, completely (Pause). Further off in the distance, you notice the figure of a person walking towards you, and as they draw closer, you begin to make out who this person is (Pause) it’s you. The person walking towards you (Pause) is you. And as you draw closer to yourself, you can’t help but notice how well you are looking. You are dressed in your finest clothes, and you are smiling, like you’ve never seen yourself smile before. There’s a glow of happiness on your face and a confident stride in your walk, and you look as though you haven’t a care in the world. After a short time, you are eventually standing face to face with your ideal self, and without giving it a second thought you say, “How are you? You’re looking great today.” Almost in the same instant, your ideal self opens their arms wide, and gives you a hug like you never experienced before. It’s a hug straight from the heart, and it embraces you with strength, and unconditional love. The hug is so powerful, it causes your ideal self to pass straight into you, and become you. Your ideal self (Pause) becomes you, and you are now the person that you’ve always dreamed of being. Your fantasy has become reality, and you are now very pleased with how the new you looks and feels. It’s as though you’ve made peace with yourself, and as though a new you has been created along this wonderful journey. Going deeper, and deeper now, deeper, and deeper, just letting go, completely, relaxing more, and more, deeper, and deeper. So as you begin to walk again, along the path and through the forest, you become aware of the sounds of nature all around you. Birds are singing away to their hearts content, and you are happy just to stop and listen to their song. And while you continue walking, you hear the sound of a nearby stream and turn off the forest path to go in search of it. Your instinct guides you to where it is flowing gently, and so you sit on a log beside it, to have a well earned rest. And while you sit and listen, to the calm, lapping sounds of the water, a thirst comes over you, and you realize that you are very thirsty, from all the walking you’ve done, and so you kneel down, and cup your hand in the stream, for a nice refreshing drink of cool, pure, fresh water. And when the water touches off your dry lips, it feels cool and pure, and so you drink, and satisfy your thirst. And when you are finished drinking, you notice a reflection in the water, and you see yourself in the reflection. You realize that the person you are looking at is someone you are very proud to be, and so you take some time to stare and smile at your reflection, because the person you are smiling at (Pause) is you, a confident, and relaxed person. Life is good, and is now very exciting for you, because now you are allowing your subconscious mind to express your growing confidence. You accept yourself, and love yourself, and all the wonderful changes that are occurring inside you, changes that you are aware of, and other changes, which are now happening at a deeper level. You realize that every learning experience is like a stepping stone to greater success and freedom. Every day you program happy thoughts and positive thoughts into your mind. You are smiling more and laughing more, expressing yourself freely, because now you are motivated, and deeply relaxed. You are optimistic about your future, and are confident in your ability, to accept, and successfully handle all challenges that come your way. Each day you encourage yourself with positive thoughts such as, “I can do it. I am doing it. I’m full of life and I’m full of energy. I’m confident. I’m relaxed. I’m creative. I’m motivated. I’m healthy. I’ve a healthy mind and I’ve a healthy body.” You trust yourself to be poised and serene, calm and confident, as you express your ideas in a clear and logical way. Others enjoy your company, and look forward to hearing your ideas, because you always express yourself in a clear and logical way. You have confidence entering a room, confidence in your appearance, and confidence in your personality. You are always relaxed and confident, because you now know the great depth of your own inner strength.
