Stay Focused on the Prize

How do you stay focused on what you want to experience when things you don’t want are all over your life?

For many who are learning about the law of attraction, staying focused on the goal, the finished dream, feels difficult in the face of what is now going on in their lives.

Often people ask me how to feel excited about something that isn’t going on in their lives when what is happening isn’t pleasant.

This is a topic that comes up over and over again.

Think back to when you were a child and Christmas was just around the corner. Do you remember the feeling of excitement and anticipation you felt for the gifts you just knew that Santa would bring?

Hold onto that feeling. Use that feeling to guide you through the present situation which is a direct result of past thoughts and actions.

As you use your feelings to guide you toward your dreams you have a very powerful tool to use to keep you focused on what IS coming into your life rather than what is in your life at this moment.

Start each morning off with a few moments of getting in touch with you goals and dreams. Use your imagination to interact with the new job, car, home, relationship. Your thoughts combined with strong feeling are the creation tool to bring your desires to physical reality.

Regardless of what is happening right now, you can stay in vibrational alignment with what you really want by spending time in your thoughts and feelings in the place of desires accomplished.

As you move through your day and thoughts of what is come to you; doubts, fear, anger, anxiety and even stress raise their little heads, you can go back to your imagination and feelings of what you are creating consciously. It takes practice and self discipline to stay aware of thoughts and feelings and choose to change them to be more in line with what you are desiring, however the more you practice the easier and more automatic it becomes.

By remembering that you are always creating, always attracting new experiences into your life by way of thoughts, feelings, beliefs and expectations, you will begin to notice a subtle shift in the thoughts and feelings you choose. You will begin to feel when you are out of alignment and more quickly consciously craft your life with directed intent and purpose.

It all depends on what you choose to focus on, what you choose to put your energy into. No one, no outside force is exerting it’s choices on your life, it all works in direct proportion to what you are asking for. Your thoughts, beliefs, expectations, and feelings are the prayer, the asking for, the declaration of your life. Use them with conscious choice and direction of emotions and enjoy the process of joyful creation.
