The Beauty of Green

The earth going green to many means recycling, but have you ever thought or looked at the color, acknowledge the beauty and tranquility of such a beautiful color. Spend a day admiring the green all around. How does green make you feel?

When we speak of green everyone’s 1st thought is saving the earth, and recycling; but have you ever stopped to really get a good look at the color green.

Green represents so many things to different people who use Chakras for healing. They know that green represents the heart, and it is very important to keep this charka clear, with free flowing energy.  By focusing on this color it is not only great for the heart, by using meditation, this color can help lower your blood pressure. Using this color during deep breathing exercise helps you to relax enough to draw in deeper breaths, which helps to strengthen your lungs. Deep breathing also increases your pulse rate, which helps eliminate toxins from the body, and brings in with each breathe clean oxygen for the vital organs in our body.

While others just marvel at the beauty of the different hues of this secondary color, made from blue and yellow, other look to how nature displays them all around. To look into a valley full of trees and rolling hill, pastures with all the different greens is absolutely the most soothing site for one to set their eyes upon. Green is considered the most relaxing color, of all the colors available. Add a little more yellow and the green is brighter, giving the feeling of lively energy; while the more blue you add darkens the color, giving a more serious tone.

When looking at, and seeing the aura of a person, the different shades of green will tell the reader what is going on in that persons life. The lighter greens are a sense of spirituality, to be at peace with ones soul and being one with nature and God’s gifts to the world.  Darker shades of green represent one full of jealously, or envy wishing or wanting something they are unable to attain. The muddy looking green which is very unclear, is that of a sneaky person, full of deceit, and should not be trusted. A person who is depressed will have a grayish green hue, which can usually be seen in the person’s eyes as well.

The beauty of green can truly appreciated when spending the day “in the green”; from the moment you awake to the time the sunsets. To watch the sun rise through the trees, over the sky, as it sets in west, you look at the world around you; it gives you a sense of peace. To spend a day in this way, wrapped around in the beautiful hues of green, while quiet and peaceful, is not easy to find, but if you do take advantage of it.

I never really thought of green in all those ways, but yesterday after several days of rain, the lawns were all cut, and I truly admired the beautiful healthy, lush green grass. It was beautiful.
