The Energetic Causes of Illness

Occurences that are too significant to be considered coincidental on a spiritual level are described by the word synchronicity and some illnesses and injuries do seem to be predestined enough to fall into this category.  These kinds of ailments provide us with opportunities for inner change and healing and as such an injury or illness may be chosen at a soul level, not only to heal some aspect of the individuals consciousness but also to heal the consciousness of the greater group.

The Law of Sacrifice dictates that the well being or consciousness of many makes advances due to the suffering of a few and as such our bodily issues and troubles can serve as an indication of the evasions that we are undertaking on a psychological level.   As we evolve through our lives, so do the challenges that we face and because, generally we would ignore or avoid them if we had the choice, the distress that we suffer at a bodily level serves two purposes, firstly alerting us that we have an issue that is begging to be addressed and secondly it ensures that the consequences of ignoring this issue is too painful or costly to endure in the long term.

The human body reacts to its circumstances without judgement and is incapable of dishonesty and this leads us to blush and blanch at the most inopportune moments, pupils dilating, teeth chattering, jaws clenching, palms sweating…instinct and emotion in their purest forms. humiliating us with untimely erections, trembling or fainting when we want to seem stoic, exposing the humanity that we are trying so hard to cover up.

Physical matter nourishes our physical form whilst our energetic bodies are nourished energetically, via our chakra system.  When distortion is present in one of our bodies, the flow of energy is also blocked or distorted and if this distortion is prolonged, disease manifests in the form of cancer and the like.  Brief but severe periods of dissonance will result in more short lived illnesses such as headaches, colds and flus.
